Asawer Real Estate Development Company and the Saudi Value Experts Company signed an agreement to start the work of the “Value Expert Oman” real estate evaluation company. Which aims to provide the Omani market with all relevant services in accordance with international standards and an accurate scientific approach.
The agreement will see Value Expert Oman be the first supporter of finding Omani cadres who follow a scientific methodology to supply the real estate market with internationally accredited evaluators, by providing training services in joint cooperation with accredited Saudi trainers, in addition to its basic work of providing real estate evaluation services in its various branches and participating Global experiences in the development of evaluation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Engineer Siham Al-Harthy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Value Expert Oman, said that the importance of controlling real estate valuation comes with the aim of maintaining the vitality, sustainability and stability of the real estate market. It also clarifies the value and risks and helps avoid fraud, fraud and money laundering in this vital and important sector. She added that it is difficult to revive financing operations without evaluation reports that follow modern scientific standards on which financing plans and terms can be built, and guarantees that preserve the rights of the financial institution and lenders are determined, and it also helps in building risk-adjusted investment strategies. Al Harthiya stressed that real estate evaluation is not limited to financing, insurance, and merger, division, and liquidation projects only, but also includes buying, selling, and leasing operations, as well as various types of investment, which creates a transparent database that can be relied upon for investments and also contributes to attracting more investments.
For his part, Engineer Alaa Al-Thaqafi, founder and partner of Value Expert Saudi Arabia, said that the company began its work in 2015 as an accredited body to practice real estate valuation by the Saudi Authority for Certified Valuers, and was able to expand rapidly in the Kingdom thanks to its trained human staff and its international alliances with real estate valuation companies in The world, pointing out that the company began carrying out its activities in the Sultanate of Oman in close partnership with Asawer Real Estate Company in order to serve the realization of the “Oman 2040” vision.
Abdul Khaleq Al Busaidi, Director of the Real Estate Valuation Department at Value Expert Oman, said that the company seeks to provide the best practices in real estate valuation and contribute to spreading awareness about the importance of valuation in society, by organizing specialized courses and workshops in the field of valuation. The company also seeks to cooperate with certified trainers. In all branches of the evaluation to qualify and train Omani youth and contribute to achieving the aspirations of the “Oman 2040” vision.
Fahd bin Mohammed Al Khalili, CEO of Bayan Investment Company, said that this partnership comes within the framework of the general vision of the Omani-Saudi partnership. As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has come a long way in terms of real estate development and creating the infrastructure for real estate evaluation in it, he explained that the aim of this partnership is to benefit from the expertise and adapt it in the Sultanate by benefiting from the systems, procedures and infrastructure.
Abdullah Al-Khathlan, Director of Business Development at Value Expert Saudi Arabia, said that this agreement is important for both parties, as Saudi Arabia has taken important steps in regulating the market and developing real estate valuation legislation for practitioners of the profession, led by the Saudi Authority for Certified Valuers. He added that this experience is 8 years old, during which it witnessed development and moved to the stage of expansion outside the Kingdom through a partnership with Asawwar Al Omaniya.
